Reconstruction of Modlińska Street on the section from the Grota Roweckiego Bridge to the bridge over the Żerań Canal
The investment is located in the right bank of Warsaw, in the Białołęka district. The project concerned the reconstruction of a section of Modlińska Street from the junction with the Grota Roweckiego Bridge to the bridge over the Żerański Canal along with the reconstruction of this bridge and the viaduct over the railway siding to the Żerań CHP Plant. It is a fragment of a larger reconstruction of Modlińska Street along the entire length from the Grota Roweckiego Bridge towards the city limits to Aluzyjna Street.The reconstruction included the construction of a roadway with 4 lanes in each direction, construction of 5 bridges over the Żerań Canal (2 road bridges, 1 footbridge for the sidewalk and bicycle path, 1 footbridge for the cycling route, 1 tram bridge – reserve for the future route), reconstruction of the embankment under the road, reconstruction and construction of local streets in the investment area, and construction of a railway crossing over the railway siding to the Żerań CHP.The reconstruction of Modlińska Street on this section was aimed at ensuring the proper functioning of engineering facilities on the Żerań Canal, a railway siding, ensuring the possibility of developing a public transport system and maintaining street capacity.
