Accelerator of innovation, cooperation and academic entrepreneurship of BPN-T
Science and Technology Park supports young entrepreneurs and innovative ideas. The subsidy provided by Regional Operational Programme made it possible to create two places, Centroom and Transfer Chamber. Both of them give startup companies and freelancers favorable conditions for development, an also encourage science and business collaboration. Centroom, located in the centre of Białystok, is a modernly equipped co-working office, where young people who want to start their own companies can rent a working space at affordable prices.
What’s more important, Centroom is a place, where people can work together and share knowledge, take part in training courses and workshops, meet potential clients and interesting people from other business branches. Transfer Chamber is a place, where teams of students and scientists solve problems and carry out projects ordered by local companies. The new solutions, developed with the use of innovative technologies, can later be commercialized and used in real life. Transfer room creates opportunities for science and business cooperation, giving benefits to both sides. The scientific community has a chance to work on real business problems, and for companies it can become a platform of open innovation.
