The Waste Management Plant is equipped with technological sections enabling processing of the entire municipal waste stream and cleaning of “packaging materials”.
The plant is ultimately equipped with sections:
- Receiving and segregating municipal waste, including positive and negative segregation of waste, broken down into:
- Packaging waste (recyclable materials);
- Organic waste;
- Ballast waste with partial processing into substitute fuel; – Hazardous waste;
- Mineral waste.
- Receiving and crushing segregated green waste, further composting, storing and distributing it.
- Posibility of producing alternative fuel
- Accepting bulky waste and waste electrical and electronic equipment from residents of communes.
The following results have been achieved through the implementation of the project:
- Amount of waste sorted – 153.84 Mg / day in 2014
- Amount of waste deposited in a composting plant – 73.58 Mg / day in 2014
