As part of the project, the following activities were carried out:
- Modernization of the waste landfill in Włodawa
- Integrated service system of municipal waste management plant in Włodawa together with video monitoring of ZZO area.
As part of the project, the following project products were achieved:
- number of built composting plants: 1 pcs
- number of modernized storage sites: 1
- number of constructed sorting plants: 1 pcs
- area of reconstructed / modernized landfills: 5.1 ha
The implementation of the investment enabled:
- improving the level of environmental protection by reducing groundwater and soil pollution,
- improving conditions and increasing the quality of life of residents,
- promotion of the commune as a place offering high living comfort and an attractive place for rest and active recreation,
- reducing the amount of deposited waste as a result of introducing earlier segregation while increasing the amount of waste subject to recovery,
- eliminating the possibility of storing hazardous waste present in the municipal waste stream,
- extending the life of the operated landfill,
- maintaining existing jobs and creating new ones.
