Reconstruction of the communication system together with modernization of the railway viaduct and underground passage within the Lublin railway station
The main goal of the project was to improve the technical condition of the railway viaduct over Kunickiego Street in Lublin and to improve the service of passengers traveling within the tunnel passage and platforms of the Lublin station. The extension of the tunnel towards Kunickiego Street will allow better access to rail services for the community of the city of Lublin and surrounding towns.
The material scope of the project included, among others:
- Addition of a connector to the existing passage leading from the platforms of Lublin station to ul. Kunicki.
- Construction of two pedestrian tunnel crossings parallel to the existing viaduct.
- Modernization of the railway viaduct over ul. Kunicki.
- Reconstruction of the road surface within the viaduct.
- Construction of a pedestrian crossing over the viaduct over the mountain.
- Collision liquidation.
