Rehabilitation Centre for Domestic Protected Birds "Bird Asylum"
The main objective of the project was to build a fully equipped rehabilitation centre for national protected birds, and thus to provide care, treatment and rehabilitation of the sick ones, found by the people, and creating the possibility of the return to the natural environment. Bird Asylum has been equipped with modern diagnostic and surgery equipment. Basing on the extensive experience of specialists working in the zoo, the Bird Asylum also performs an educational function for future veterinarians.
