Development by CIECH R&D sp. z o.o. in cooperation with Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń (subcontractor) of a globally innovative technology for ammonia brine carbonation allowing the increase of sodium efficiency in the sodium carbonate (calcinated soda) production process.
CIECH R&D Sp. z o.o. implements the project “Development by CIECH R&D sp. z o.o. in cooperation with Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń (subcontractor) of a globally innovative technology for ammonia brine carbonation allowing the increase of sodium efficiency in the sodium carbonate (calcinated soda) production process”. The project is co-financed under the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, Measure 1.2 Sectoral R&D Programmes.
Aim of the project: Development of an innovative technology for ammonia brine carbonation.
Planned effects: Technology characterized by a number of usability currently unavailable to end users (increased sodium efficiency of the process, reduced post-distillation wastes and CO2 emission, increased purity of the product).
