perspective
2014 - 2020

INTERMAG Sp. z o.o. is one of the world’s largest producers of fertilisers and biostimulators. The company’s products are available on markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America. The company specialises in developing and producing modern preparations for farming. It is also active in the pro-health animal product sector.

The aim of this project was to introduce a group of innovative biopreparations onto the market. These products were developed from R&D work carried out by the company in collaboration with IUNG Puławy, IO Skierniewice and Poznań University of Life Sciences. The results of the work are subject to intellectual property rights (these are owned by the company INTERMAG).

The project concerned investments in tangible fixed assets connected with the creation of a new production plant (initial investment). A production hall and warehouse were also adapted and customised under the project. The plant belonging to the company was fitted with a comprehensive process line necessary to initiate production of the biopreparations, which are innovative on a global scale and based solely on active micro-organisms occurring naturally in the soil environment.

The new products are characterised by a range of unique features and properties, which makes them stand out considerably from the products present on the world market – they are distinguished by their multi functionality. They contribute to an intensification of agricultural production. They increase the bioavailability of nutrients in soil, by improving their properties, thus stimulating the growth and development of plants, which in turn has a beneficial effect on the quality and size of crops. The biopreparations produced by the beneficiary also limit the most dangerous disease affecting orchard crops – apple scab.
