Construction of a production plant for WPC biocomposites based on synthetic polymers (PVC) and wood dust from recycled wood waste, including from the furniture industry.
Hartika Sp. z o.o. is a manufacturer of patio and fencing systems made from WPC composite and WPC granulate.
The aim of this project was to implement the results obtained by the beneficiary from R&D work and the company’s invention – a patented solution in the field of composite materials (a European patent for WPC biocomposite with specific properties, and on the method of producing and using it).
The innovative nature of the invention lies in the way the WPC composite is produced. The product was created based on synthetic polymers (PVC) with the use of wood dust from recycled wood waste, including from the furniture industry.
Ecological recycled products such as WPC granulate, WPC patio boards and WPC fencing boards were also launched on the market.
The company’s products have reliability and durability guaranteed, and the product solutions are recognised in the construction industry both on the domestic and European markets.
And importantly, a modern production facility was built in a district of a poorly developed region. Hartika has created nine new jobs at the plant. The EU finds enabled the industrial infrastructure, consisting of production and warehouse areas, to be created from scratch, technologically advanced production machinery, software and technological systems to be purchased, and the plant to be equipped with the necessary research and laboratory infrastructure.
the company also benefited from consultancy with regard to technological optimisation of the production process.
Realising the project transformed the firm’s position on the market – Hartika is an independent production company in the SMB sector. The results of this project will enable the beneficiary to expand further, conduct further research work and create new, innovative products.
