Increased recognition of the product brands of Podwysocki Sp.J. on the international market
Project scope:Podwysocki Sp.J. is a manufacturer of women’s clothing offering high-quality knitted and woven products. Existing on the market since 2003, it has gained the trust of many customers both on the domestic and foreign market, has representative offices in Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Slovakia.The subject of the project was the participation of Podwysocki Spółka Jawna in trade fair activities and organization of an incoming economic mission to increase the company’s export volume, in particular to the prospective market, which is Russia.
The main tasks that were carried out under the project were:
- Advice on preparing the Company for entering the prospective market – Russia.
- Training in the internationalization of the Company on the Russian market.
- Organization of the arrival economic mission – for contractors from the Russian market.
- Purchase and distribution of information and promotional materials.
- Participation in the fair as an exhibitor – CPM Moscow, Russia; editions: September 2017, September 2018, February 20198-9. Participation in the exhibition as an exhibitor: – Birminhgam Fashion, United Kingdom; editions: February 2018 and February 201910. Participation in the exhibition as an exhibitor – Who’s next Paris, France, edition: September 201911-12. Participation in the fair as an exhibitor – Poznań Fashion Fair, Poland; editions: February / March 2018 and February / March 201913. Promotion of the Polish Economy Brand.
Project goals: The main goal of the project was to promote the product brands of Podwysocki Spółka Jawna on the international market. The subject of export are women’s clothing collections manufactured by Podwysocki sp.j under the SUNWEAR and FERIA brands. The SUNWEAR brand prepares two collections a year in fast fashion mode. The main assortment of the SUNWEAR brand are blouses, dresses and light sweaters. FERIA is a contracting brand that twice a year presents a collection containing about 110 models in a complementary assortment.
By participating in trade fair events and organizing economic missions, both brands’ products have the chance to become recognizable brands on foreign markets, including: Russian, British and French, and to promote the Polish Economy Brand. The effect of the implementation of activities is an increase in the company’s exports, which in the long run will contribute to the increase of its competitiveness and international recognition.
Project meaning:Participation in the International Fair is the best and most effective way to promote the company’s offer on foreign markets, as it brings together buyers and suppliers from around the world. It allows direct presentation of products to potential recipients, establishing business contacts, collecting orders, exchanging experiences. The cost of the fair is not high compared to the wide range that this form of promotion has. In addition, it is easy to reach a large number of key customers, and the credibility of this form of promotion is high. By participating in the fair, the company presented its products to several hundred thousand strategic customers from several dozen countries around the world.The final results of the project are:promotion of Podwysocki product brands and promotion of the Polish Economy Brand,signing new commercial contracts,increase in revenues from export sales,strengthening the company’s image on international markets,increasing the company’s competitiveness on the world stage.
