Review and update of flood hazard maps and flood risk maps
The subject of the project is to review and update the Flood Hazard Maps (MZP) and Flood Risk Maps (MRP), planning documents required by art. 88f paragraph. 11 of the Water Law Act and Art. 14 of the Floods Directive. The aim of the project is to designate flood risk areas and identify flood risk for them. The final area coverage of the project will be determined at the stage of its implementation, which results from the specific nature of the project. The scope of map updates developed in the 1st planning cycle will result from the map review carried out as part of the project. The number of areas exposed to the risk of flooding for which new MPA and MRP will be prepared will result from the review and update of the PFRA, and partly from the PFRA 2011. Annex 3. The scope of the project does not include the review and updating of maps from the sea and internal sea waters. The elements specified in Art. 88d paragraph. 2 and 3 of the Water Law Act. For each of the designated areas, MRP is developed in accordance with the scope indicated in Art. 88e paragraph. 2. The detailed scope and requirements for MZP and MRP are specified in the Regulation of the Ministry of the Environment, MTBiGM, MAiC and the Ministry of the Interior of December 21, 2012 on the development of MZP and MRP (Journal of Laws of 2013, item 104). Pursuant to the Regulation, MZP and MRP are prepared separately for each of the areas (the so-called flood scenarios) indicated in Art. 88d paragraph. 2, in two thematic sets. As part of the project, 15 types of maps will be developed. The project provides for the implementation of 4 main tasks and at least 4 tender procedures for the total amount of PLN 52 million. All expenses will be eligible under the project.
