Increasing the effectiveness of long-term rescue operations
The project provides for:
– purchases of equipment for long-term rescue operations (among others: ladders and hydraulic platform vehicles, chemical pumps, power generators);
– purchases of equipment for educational process, including training simulators that reflect the working environment of rescuers;
– equipping schools and training centers with rescue and fire-fighting equipment intended for training in saving of lives, health, property and eliminating of the consequences of natural and man-made disasters;
– tasks related to the project development and management as well as informational and promotional activities.
The implementation of the project will improve the safety and security of inhabitants and people visiting Poland. In addition, the project will improve the quality and effectiveness of rescue operations what will translate directly into reducing threats to human health and life as well as it will support the protection of natural environment.
