Celem projektu jest polepszenie stanu ochrony rybitwy czarnej na terenie obszaru Natura 2000 Dolina Dolnej Odry poprzez:

  • zwiększenie populacji lęgowej i wyższy sukces lęgowy rybitwy czarnej,
  • monitorowanie liczebności populacji lęgowej,
  • ocenę występowania drapieżników i określenie ich wpływu na populację lęgową oraz eliminację drapieżników, 
  • podniesienie świadomości wśród korzystających z obszaru o potrzebie ochrony gatunku (m.in. amatorzy sportów wodnych).
