Reconstruction of Marynarska Street on the section Taśmowa Street and Rzymowskiego Street
The project included the reconstruction of ul. Marynarska on the section from ul. Taśmowa to the Marynarska-Wołoska-Rzymowskiego junction in Warsaw in the Mokotów district.
The aim of the project was to implement a road connection (length 0.775 km) with increased capacity and load capacity, which, together with the already built/reconstructed road sections, constitutes a direct connection of the transport hub, which is the city of Warsaw, with the international TEN-T network: road and air. The implementation of the project improved the transport accessibility of the country both in the European and national terms, because high-quality road connections with the international TEN-T network were implemented and high-quality interregional and intraregional transport connections were provided.
The section of the street covered by the project is:
- one of the key fragments of City Ring Road in the southern part of the city,
- direct connection (as a series of Marynarska – Rzymowskiego streets) of the municipal street network with the route of national road No. 92 (E30) constituting the so-called TEN-T pan-European corridor “North Sea – Baltic”,
- direct connection to the S79 express road.
The implementation of the project contributed to the creation of a coherent network of high-capacity roads connecting all voivodeship cities with the TEN-T network and enabling them to be connected via expressways with Warsaw, which is the main urban node of the network’s core.
