‘Rebuilding the road for a distance of about 5 km during the national road No. 74 from 1 May street (bridge on the river Łabńka) to Szczebrzeska street (border of the city of Zamość)’
The project was submitted on 29 April 2016 in response to competitive recruitment applications for co-financing under: Priority axis IV – Urban infrastructure Action 4.1 – Increasing the accessibility of transport urban centers in THE TEN-T road network and relieving cities from excessive traffic under Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020. Following the formal and substantive verification process of the selection criteria, the project received a positive evaluation and obtained 68 points. 8 February 2017r. The City of Zamość signed an agreement for co-financing for the realization of the above project.

On 18 June 2019, the City of Zamość signed Annex 1 to the co-financing agreement.
Project implementation period: 19.02.2016 – 30.11.2022
Tasks scheduled to be completed within the project:
- Preparation of documentation. The tasks include the following: Development of project documentation (development of a functional and utility program, estimation of project costs, project information sheet, Road Safety Audit, conditions for execution and receipt of works and maps), feasibility study with financial and economic analysis, development of EIA reports and technical development.
- Rebuilding the national road No. 74 from the May 1 street to the Szczebrzeska street. The task is to carry out m.in. actions: Preparatory and demolition work, earthmoving, drainage, paving position, lighting installation, marking, pavement and cycle path construction, exits, bus bays, bridge development, photovoltaic screens installation, cycling and pedestrian areas.
- Investment supervision of project execution – Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of the investment and directing its implementation in the form of substantive and technical supervision in such a way as to ensure its compliance with EU law and with RP law, In particular, the provisions of the Construction Law of 7 July 1994 and its implementing Rules, and with project co-financing agreement and agreement with The Contractor of The Investment.
- Information and promotion activities. The task is to carry out the following activities: Project website, paid press releases, information and commemorative plaques, press conferences.
- Project Management – coordinator and assistant of the project coordinator. The task is intended to carry out all activities by the project coordinator and the project coordinator’s assistant with the aim of providing comprehensive project implementation services, i.e. project coordinator: Project management, coordination of individual tasks, tendering procedures, project accounting, project coordinator’s assistant: coordination of individual tasks, accounting, monitoring of implementation progress, reporting and evaluation.
- Reserve of project’s funds. The task is intended to cover unforeseen costs when unforeseen costs arise during the execution of the project.
