The Conservation Heaven - purchase of equipment for the Workshops of the Conservation Department of the National Museum in Szczecin
The implementation of the project “Conservation Heaven – purchase of equipment for the Conservation Workshops of the National Museum in Szczecin” began with the signing of the contract no. POIS.08.01.00-00-0085 / 17 on December 15, 2017. The last activities ended on December 31, 2020. The aim of the project “Conservation Heaven” is to protect and develop cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible. The implementation of the project made possible to increase the preservation, protection and accessibility of monuments in the museum’s collections and to extend the cultural and educational offer of the National Museum in Szczecin. The purchased equipment is used directly for the conservation and research of material heritage, and indirectly – through the restored exhibits and covered by scientific and research works – creating narratives and preserving intangible heritage. The total cost of the project was PLN 3,394,719.69, including eligible costs PLN 2,774,989.69, and co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund amounted to PLN 2,358,741.24.
