Startup platform for new ideas Hub of Talents
Project “Hub of Talents”, coordinated by Białystok Science and Technology Park aimed at innovators who had wished to develop their ideas in eastern Poland, specifically in Podlaskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodships.
The participant of the program could have been not older than 35 years and their business ideas should have been significantly innovative and possess the chance of further development. Young entrepreneurs qualified for the project have received enormous support at start. First of all, they have participated in a series of trainings and workshops, eg.: public appearances, promotion, team building or customer care. Platform has also provided start-ups with legal and accounting services, marketing support as well as tax and legal counselling, including protection of industrial property rights.
Each participant had been appointed with personal guardian as well as access to a set of specialised services, which were adapted to individual needs depending on each idea in development. It could have been engineering or technological support, encompassing management or distribution strategies, as well as visual identification of particular brand. Significantly, the participant had the space of the park at their disposal, thus creating ideal environment to meet and stay in touch with other innovators. Individual support of each participant had a de minimis character. Some of the incubators have been recommended for further development and the entrepreneurs could have applied for financial support. 30 young entrepreneurs continue their projects at the moment.
“Startup platforms for new ideas” program is a project of Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, conducted simultaneously in six technoparks, in: Białystok, Ełk, Elbląg, Olsztyn, Suwałki and Łomża. Białystok Science and Technology Park is a leader and coordinator of program’s first edition with „Hub of Talents” startup platform.
