Implementation of an innovative product in the form of a new generation barrier paper to economic practice on a European scale, preventing the migration of critical substances into food based on dedicated R&D results
For 30 years, YANKO sp.z o.o. is a producer of bent plastic and paper packaging known on the Polish and foreign market, a company constantly focused on innovation.The aim of the project was to launch serial production of packaging made of new generation barrier paper.As a result of the project, the production plant was expanded with a new hall, and fixed assets needed to implement a separate technological line were purchased. Advisory services during the implementation and management of technological processes were also necessary.The company introduced a modern product to the market – packaging paper covered with an innovative protective coating, in which substances based on natural ingredients and bio polymers were used. They prevent the migration of critical substances into the food, replacing the existing plastic coatings. New product features dramatically change the usefulness of such packaging. They fit into the market requirements of users. They ensure the quality of stored food and health safety. The ecological aspect is also important – the offered product is fully biodegradable, compostable and recyclable.The added value is the initiated cooperation with the members of the “POLIGEN” cluster and including YANKO among the companies promoting green and sustainable economy.
