Launching the production of lower density and new aesthetic features packaging, as a result of R+D works implementation
The aim of the project was to implement the results of research and development works performed by Poznań University of Technology as commissioned by the beneficiary. The project involved the purchase of the land in Pustków, n. Dębica, and construction of the modern production hall (more than 1300 sq. m). The building contains production section, raw material and final product warehouses, social space for employer and office space.
The building has been equipped with modern machin park enabling the company to launch fully automated production line. The products are manufactured with modified polypropylene injection-molding method and decorated with in mould labeling (IML). The project has let the company to introduce four new product to the market – plastic bucket of various capacities. Their distinguished features include increased mechanical durability, increased chemical resistance, higher dimensional stability, increased ageing resistance, as well as new aesthetic features – greater transparency and shine. Innovative manufacturing method has also enabled to decrease the weight of packages as compared to previously produced, without durability or rigidness losses.
Implementation of the project has led to increase of company’s employment, and products manufactured in the new factory are sold on Polish and German market. The company is planning further expansion on foreign markets.
