Implementation of innovative product in P.H. Dobis company
“Dobis” trading company has been operating for almost 25 years on the food industry packaging market. Analysis of customer needs and changes on the market in recent years, have forced the implementation of some changes and broadening the offer with fully ecological packaging. The company has commissioned research and development works and as a result has exclusively obtained composition of the biostatic matter (able to inhibit the growth and destroy bacteria) and the way to apply it on paper bags used in a food industry. Co-financing with european funds of the “Implementation of innovative product in P.H. Dobis company” project allowed the purchase of machinery and launching of automated production line.
Ecological paper bag with a biostatic surface manufactured by Dobis company has been covered by the patent application. Additional advantage of the product include high durability parameters and excellent quality of full-colour print.The implementation of the project has significantly influenced the increase in volume of orders from individual Polish and foreign customers. As of today, the manufacturing process is taking place in three shifts mode. Broadening the offer with innovative ecological products has also influenced the company’s position on the european packaging market.
