Launching an innovative design line of ecological bathroom fittings products
Ekola is a service and production company existing on the market since 2001, which deals with the design and implementation of kitchen, bathroom, room furniture as well as unusual orders for individual customers. The company also manufactures various types of furniture fronts, both veneered and varnished.
The company’s new product is wooden sinks, thanks to the use of unique technology, they are distinguished by their unique design, appearance and character, but also very high strength, resistance and comfort of use.

Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Handlowo-Usługowe EKOLA received financial support from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the project “Implementation of an innovative design line of ecological bathroom fittings into the market”
The subject of the project is the implementation of innovative and ecological wooden sinks by the company.
The project included:
- 1. development of a new design line
- 2. retrofitting and modernizing the machine park – purchase of a 5-axis CNC, grinding machine,
- 3. modernization of paint shop
- 4. optimization of the production process
- 5. development of a quality control model
- 6. creation of a department responsible for design and development of new products
The main goal of the project was to increase the competitiveness and innovation of EKOLA on the domestic market. Special objectives were: diversification of activities, introduction to the offer of products not previously manufactured in the plant – a design line consisting of three ecological washbasins intended for different recipients in terms of price preferences, increasing range business activity and reaching a larger audience.
