Increasing the competitiveness of BESTER SKLEJKI as a result of implementing a design strategy
BESTER SKLEJKI is a family business. Its founder in 1968 opened a small workshop with a furniture production service. In the 1990s, the company began producing the first plywood components for school chairs. From 2004, the dynamic development of the company began, including constant investments in infrastructure and employment development. Currently, the company employs over 90 people, which allows for systematic increase in production capacity. Years of experience in the design and production of high-quality bent-glued components result in new implementations of design projects and international cooperation. The company constantly strives to achieve the leading position in the domestic market of profiled plywood producers.
The aim of the project was to implement the activities included in the 1st Stage of the design strategy. It was recommended to design your own collection of seats as well as architectural elements. The introduction of product innovation was associated with the purchase of the necessary equipment – machines and devices necessary for the production of a new assortment. Another implemented strategy recommendation was the introduction of marketing innovation, i.e. creating a new corporate image and organizing organizational processes and production execution. The customer service process was also focused on. An interesting and unique offer of the company required the development of a new visual identity of the brand, promotional materials, a plan to promote the new offer and sales policy.The implementation of the project enabled the company to increase its competitiveness, which allowed BESTER SKLEJKI to become known on the international market among manufacturers of profiled plywood.
