Extension of DW762 on the section: „Kielce Południe” S7 interchange - border of the Chęciny commune
The investment involved the reconstruction of the DW762 road, from the three-inlet intersection with Kielecka Str. to the border with the Małogoszcz commune.
The project for the expansion of voivodship road DW762 assumed the adaptation of the section of the two-way two-way road to the parameters of technical class G and the adaptation of the pavement structure to the traffic load for traffic category kr4.
As part of the project:
- extension of voivodship road 762 to the parameters of class G grogs over a 10 km section
- construction of access roads to the property adjacent to the voivodeship road DW762
- construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths
- pavement construction in built-up areas
- extension of intersections
- reconstruction and construction of new individual and public conventions
- construction of pavements around intersections and bus stops
- construction of bus bays and modernization of existing ones
- construction of a new bridge over the metallurgical river
- construction of drainage for voivodship road DW762
- road lighting construction
- reconstruction and extension of technical infrastructure
- construction of road safety devices
- construction of weighing and vehicle inspection places
- construction of a place for cyclists service
The existing infrastructure was rebuilt: the works concerned the energy, telecommunications and sanitary networks.
The project for the expansion of voivodship road DW762 was aimed at increasing the accessibility and improving the quality of the communication system of the Kielce Functional Area as well as obtaining the parameters of a G-class road.
A modern infrastructure was created in the form of rebuilding voivodship roads over a section of 10.16 km and bicycle paths with a length of 10.16 km were constructed.
Thanks to the implementation of the project, the capacity of voivodship road DW762 has been increased and the flow of vehicles has improved, thanks to which the travel and transport time on this section has decreased.
