“Public procurement in Your company” is the next project run by Wielkopolska Grupa Prawnicza (Greater Poland Law Group), supporting entrepreneurs in the area of professional legal knowledge.   – Public procurement, for a long time associated only with large, public entities, have lately become the everyday necessity of small and medium sized entrepreneurships. And precisely the representatives of SME are the core target of our offer – says Mikołaj Maźwa – partner of Wielkopolska Grupa Prawnicza. – Our previous training project concerning this subject, has been a great success. Unfortunately, though we have trained the representatives of 230 companies, not everyone interested has managed to participate. I hope this time they will make up. The new project concerning public procurement has been launched in March 2018. It includes various paths of support: general training, practical training, and training combined with workshops-style concerning computerisation of public procurements. Additionally, entrepreneurs are entitled to legal counselling and together with legal counsel they will be able to take a closer look at the problems eg. concerning the drafting and placing bids, terms verification, search for the partners of consortium, drafting the documents necessary for the participation in the bidding process, preparing the application for the changes in TOR or discussing any uncertainties regarding the participation in the specific bidding. It is not necessary to choose just one module – each entrepreneur can choose all four paths. The choice depends only on individual preferences of specific company. – I am very satisfied with the practical knowledge, presented in the clear and understandable form, and in a good atmosphere – says one of the participants of the training in Poznań, in November 2018. – It has to be said – for a small company like mine, the price has also been very important. Without the co-financing we most possibly would not be able to achieve the professional knowledge, necessary for the participation in biddings. All forms of support provided to the participants of the project are co-founded in 90 perc. Micro-entities and SMEs from Lower Silesia, Greater Poland, West Pomerania and Lubusz voivodeships can participate in the project. – The training is the practical knowledge concerning public procurement right form the basics. We start from teaching how to read the advertisements understandingly, we take a closer look at the legal matters, at the most common problems encountered by the companies participating in the biddings, we analyse the cases, and finally we seek for the solution for specific issues of the participants. What is important – we help to break the social reluctance concerning legal counselling. In my opinion it is the added value of the project: we educate entrepreneur environment, that in developing their businesses attorneys can be really helpful – comments Bartosz Kozłowski, WGP partner.
