Medical Solution has applied for EU funds to develop a prototype of an IT system along with measuring and communication devices, which, thanks to constant and automatic monitoring of basic life functions, facilitates patient care. The measuring device (a band in the form of a watch) constantly checks the body temperature, body position, heart rate and blood pressure of the patient, alarming medical personnel of irregularities. The ability to measure blood pressure without having to pump a measuring sleeve is also an innovation.
Such automation is not only a great help in patient care, but also shortens the reaction time when side effects occur. By collecting and processing the data of the patients, the measuring device constitutes an important element of individual medical records.
The new technology helps in caring for seniors and allows significantly relieves the healthcare system.
