Implementation of low emission strategies through public collective transport development in Głogów
Inhabitants of Głogów municipality are satisfied with the purchase of modern eco-friendly buses and they may appreciate a more efficient and comfortable collective transport. Thanks to the obtained EU funding, Urban Communication in Głogów replaced the old fleet with a new one, providing the inhabitants with 8 eco-friendly, modern buses, equipped in the monitoring and fire protection systems. Furthermore, the buses may be freely used by the disabled, since these vehicles have the necessary amenities at disposal. Old worn out vehicles did not fulfil the standards and the EU requirements concerning environment protection. This problem was just solved: the quality of air will be improved thanks to the limited emission of exhaust and greenhouse gases.
