Increasing attractiveness of cultural offer of the Mieroszów Cultural Centre through the conversion of library and premises designated for a recording studio and a rehearsal room
The Mieroszów Cultural Centre commenced its operations in May of 2001 and it has become the central cultural institution both for the inhabitants of Mieroszów and its neighbouring communes. This place is a perfect space for all cultural and sport events directed both at the youth and the elderly. As time passed by, the building of the Cultural Centre started to require some major renovation works. And the European Union came to the rescue here. Due to the funds obtained under the regional programme, the municipality conducted a major renovation of the building. The existing library rooms were modernized, including the reading room. A new elevator was built and certain architectural obstacles were removed which had significantly hindered access to the building to the disabled users.
Thanks to the obtained funds the centre also managed to modernize and adjust other premises of the Centre, as a result of which a professional recording studio and a rehearsal room were created. These works significantly enhanced the so far offer of the cultural centre and gave the youth some new space in which they might develop their musical-vocal talents and record their works.
