Improvement of quality of services of regional public transport for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship realized through purchase of eleven new, five-component electric traction units
Specially extended, five-component, holding more than half a thousand travellers-that’s a true nature of new trains of Koleje Dolnośląskie. Modern fleet is faster and has an increased travel comfort. Each of the newly purchased trains reaches the speed of at least 160 km/h, using the modernized train lines to the maximum. Vehicles are air-conditioned and low-floored, facilitating their use by the elderly and the disabled.
They have comfortable seats with power outlets and on-board wifi. For safety of the travellers the fleet was equipped with monitoring and modern system of passenger information. The most important benefit for passengers is greater frequency of connection and shorter time of passage between key towns of voivodeship.
Vehicles commute between the following lines: Wrocław – Międzylesie (Lichkov), Wrocław – Węgliniec, Wrocław – Legnica – Lubin – Głogów, Wrocław – Rawicz, Wrocław – Jelcz Laskowice
