Revitalization of the railway line no. 326 Wrocław Psie Pole – Trzebnica II Stage
The railway line no. 326 was launched at the end of 1886. In the ‘90s of the twentieth century, both passenger and freight trains were suspended for this line. In 2009 the line was acquired and renovated by the Lower Silesian voivodeship self-government.
Line no. 326 connects Trzebnica and the towns from the Trzebnica poviat with Wrocław.
II stage of modernization consisted, among others, of an exchange of surface (rail tracks, turnouts, bases) in the section Brochocin-Trzebnica, modernization of the platforms on these stations and reconstruction of tracks on the Trzebnica station. After modernization of trains, speed levels of 80 km/h will be possible to be reached. Project realization provided the inhabitants of the Trzebnica municipality with a good and ecological means of transport to Wrocław, while the inhabitants of Wrocław obtained access to the regions of the voivodeship with unique tourist and natural qualities.
