Elicitation of the unemployed over the age of 30 who are in a special situation on the labor market in the Dzierżoniów County (IV)
For certain social groups it is more difficult to find employment. They include for example people with disabilities or those living in rural areas, women, the long-term unemployed, people with low qualifications or those over the age of 50. Sometimes one person is included into multiple of these groups and then elicitation of employment in their case is more difficult.
The County Labor Office in Dzierżoniów decided to help these people establish themselves on the labor market and acquired EU funding for this purpose. Thanks to this aid program over 150 unemployed residents of the municipalities of Niemcza, Łagiewniki and Dzierżoniów (rural municipalities) were covered. During the project (from January 2018 to March 2019), participants used the advice of vocational counselors, did intervention work and internships with employers, took part in training, and were able to receive funds to start businesses. Almost half found employment.
