The City of Gorzów Wielkopolski (CG) cooperates with renowned institutions and organizations- project partners, undertakes an innovative comprehensive action aimed at improving the quality of vocational education within the territory of GW UFA (Urban Functional Area of Gorzów Wielkopolski).

The participants of the project are students (S), teachers (T), employers and researchers. Recruitment of participants is carried out via an online platform. With a view to supporting young people in making professional decisions, counseling is provided to support the development of each S. They participate in specialized tests examining their potential, build an Individual Action Plan and, together with career counselors, plan their own educational and professional path leading to the labor market. S improve their interpersonal skills, prepare for recruitment, learn how to create their own image on the labor market, using an educational platform containing training videos, tests and learning support materials. They take advantage of the extensive training offer including new technology workshops, specialist and qualification courses, paid apprenticeship and internships, visits to workplaces, start-ups and science groups. S achieving high results in vocational subjects and taking care of development of professional competences in line with the needs of the local labor market received incentive scholarships. In turn, T improve their competences and raise qualifications through participation in postgraduate studies, courses and workshops as well as study visits.

Spectacular activities, which are aimed at promoting vocational training and skills acquired through the project are the organization of the Professional Talent Show during the Professionals’ Gala and the Gorzów Education Fair – Schools and Employers.
