Investment in the future - reconstruction and expansion of the school in Otyń to include a kindergarten
The project implemented by the Otyń Commune consists in the reconstruction and expansion of the School Complex in Otyń to include a kindergarten. Thanks to it, one of the most modern kindergartens in the area will be created. It will be modern, colorful and full of joy. In addition, it will include innovative support systems for the education of children with hearing loss and integration departments, fully adapted to the needs of children with disabilities. The building will be equipped with new teaching aids and computer hardware. The designed extension has a rectangular shape with a cubic capacity of nearly 1000 sqm and the extensions: 446.62 sqm. It will be a single-storey building, covered with a flat roof. Its form, shape and colors will allude to the existing buildings. The expansion was designed in mason technology, using sand and lime blocks. The children attending the school will gain new equipment and aids to help them learn through play. The building was designed for about 100 children (63 newly created + 37 existing places). The main objective of the project is to increase the quality of education at the elementary level in the Otyń Commune, and thus to increase the educational opportunities of children from rural areas.
