City functional area Zduńska Wola - Karsznice - building of the link with the expressway s8 in the area of Zduńska Wola county and Poddębice county
As part of the project, it is planned to design and build over 4 km of a new county road between the expressway S8 junction Zduńska Wola Wschód and the voivodship road (current national road 12 (14)). In the corridor of the road it is planned to place: roadway, isolation greenery, bicycle path, pavement, roadside ditches, road lighting, tele technical channel, infrastructure belt intended for the future construction of technical infrastructure depending on the needs (power, gas, water and sewerage). The main objectives of the project are to improve the connections and accessibility of the regional road network of the Lodzkie Region with the national road network and the TEN-T trans-European transport network, the elimination of the “bottleneck” in the region’s transport network, improving the communication accessibility of the Municipal Functional Area. The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening the spatial, economic and social cohesion of the region, increasing the attractiveness of the areas around the expressway S8 junction, and thus also the activation of the local labor market and counteracting unemployment.
