RENOVATION OF RODE PARK IN TOMASZÓW MAZOWIECKIE
The aim of the project was to create a biodiversity protection center based on native species in the city of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The renovation of the Rody Park included, among others cutting, pruning trees, preparing soil and arranging existing greenery, planting trees and shrubs.
The project modernized the existing park surfaces and built new alleys enriched with play equipment such as: abacus board and xylophone board, spiral with balls, wolf tracks, rocker, carousel, swing, weight swing, swing, ladder and elements around the playground: benches, children’s seats, chess tables.
To protect biodiversity, the park is equipped with nesting boxes for birds and mammals, and houses for insects. As part of the task, the monuments were also renovated: the monument to Jan Serafin Rode and the cannon standing in the park, i.e. the monument to the 14th Anti-Tank Artillery Brigade
