The project involves Prochownia 197, located within the Modlin Fortress in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. This investment aims to preserve cultural heritage and enhance accessibility to its resources. The Nasza Historia Foundation, as the Applicant, will carry out investment, modernization, and renovation works to adapt the existing facility to new cultural functions, including educational purposes. The project will include the following tasks:

  • Preparatory work, including a feasibility study,
  • Revitalization work, such as the renovation of the facade and interiors,
  • Equipping the facility with exhibition elements,
  • Promoting the project, including the installation of an information board.

The goal of the project is to prevent the degradation of Prochownia and to restore its lost historical value. The realization of the investment will enable the site to be accessible to visitors and to utilize its potential as a tourist attraction. The project is targeted at the following groups:

  1. Participants of cultural tourism – military, industrial, and sightseeing.
  2. Participants of specialized scientific tourism – members of associations and research clubs.

The project will introduce facilities for people with disabilities. All passages and crossings will be adapted for wheelchair users, and newly designed restrooms will fully meet the requirements of people with limited mobility.
