Social and Occupational Empowerment for Disabled Persons in Malwa Plus Occupational Therapy Workshop and Integration
One of the priorities being implemented in Mazovia is support for persons affected by social exclusion and poverty. Measures taken towards the social and occupational empowerment of excluded persons help workshop participants find their place in society. Within the project, 90 people with a significant or moderate degree of disability have received support. The goal of the measures undertaken is to increase participants’ chances of finding employment. The support involves the creation of an individual reintegration path for every disabled person, a path that takes into account the findings of the diagnosis of the problem situation, resources, potential, predispositions and needs. An integration facility has been launched, as have Occupational Therapy Workshops, where wards undergo social and occupational rehabilitation.
