Construction of a water and sewage network in Olszyny
The subject of the project was the construction of a water supply and sewage network in Olszyny, in the Rzepiennik Strzyżewski municipality. Within the scope of the project, 28.3 km of sanitary sewage gravity system, 15 complete sewage pumping stations together with pressure pipelines, 18.8 km of water supply network, and 3.2 km of water connections were executed. The completed water supply network is connected to the existing network located in Jodłówka Tuchowska. The direct goal of the project was the possibility of connecting as many farms as possible, they will be connected to the constructed network. The implementation of the project will not adversely affect the natural environment. Positive effects on the environment will be felt only after some time. The elimination of leaking septic tanks and wild drainage of sewage into ditches will have a positive effect on the surrounding environment – the cleanliness of the local river – Olszynka – will improve. The possibility of pollutants entering underground waters was limited, and odors from local ditches were fully eliminated. Thanks to the project, the quality of life of the residents and the municipality has improved, and the image of the Rzepiennik Strzyżewski municipality has improved. Access to the water supply and sewage infrastructure created has brought development opportunities for small businesses and has had a positive impact on the maintenance and development of local craft, trade and services.
