Protection of the Świnna Poręba water reservoir catchment area - expansion of the collective sewage treatment plant in Stryszów and construction of a sanitary sewage network to the Scout Centre facility in Stryszów and to the Caritas Centre in Zakrzów
The project consisted of expanding the existing collective sewage treatment plant in Stryszów by increasing its capacity to 1000 m3/day and extending the sewage system in the commune with new sections with a total length of 1.8 km, leading to two recreational facilities (Scout Centre in Stryszów and John Paul II CARITAS Holiday and Retreat Centre in Zakrzów).
As a result of the project, the number of buildings covered by the sewage and water supply system in the commune increased. Thanks to this, more residents have the opportunity to use services related to the disposal and treatment of liquid waste. Moreover, the project contributed to the comprehensive organization of sewage management in the Stryszów commune, located directly on the Świnna Poręba water reservoir, and to ensuring failure-free operation of the sewage treatment plant.
