The preservation, restoration and presentation of the authenticity of Lipowiec Castle and the development of the Vistula Ethnographic Park in Wygiełzów
The Museum – Nadwiślański Ethnographic Park in Wygiełzów and Lipowiec Castle. Located in the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland in the village of Babice – the ruins of Lipowiec Castle – formerly the seat of Krakow bishops, are part of the Museum – the Vistula Ethnographic Park in Wygiełzów and the Lipowiec Castle. In order to preserve the historic character of the building, to prevent progressive damage and its permanent protection for the future, conservation works of the castle walls and other building elements will be carried out. The facility will also gain service and sanitary facilities, necessary for its use for cultural and tourist activities. The investment will be completed by the end of 2018.
