Reconstruction of the historic "Jan" Pump Room in Krynica-Zdrój.
The project consisted of executing a comprehensive renovation of one of the main spa facilities in Krynica – Zdrój – the historic “Jan” Pump Room. The most important elements of modernization included: roof renovation, replacement of internal installations, complete replacement of external glazing with new ones with better thermal parameters, renewal of external formwork on walls and columns along with insulation of external walls. The facility was adapted in terms of communication to the needs of the elderly and people with mobility disabilities. Modernization of the insulation system has had a positive impact on the cost of operating the facility and created a new space that is now willingly visited by both tourists and residents. Tourists visiting the pump room will not only learn about the health properties of “Jan” mineral water, but also learn about the local architecture and history of the monument’s creation. The investment significantly influenced the development of the spa’s tourist offer.
