Gastronomik Białystok. Recipe for success!
The project „Gastronomik Białystok. Recipe for success!”, will allow pupils to gain professional competencies suited to the needs of the local labor market. 20 teachers and 350 students of cooking, confectionery, waiter, nutrition and food service technician courses have taken part in the project. It includes practices and internships, professional courses, and training which will increase the labor mobility of students. Pupils have the opportunity to use career counseling. Especially talented students get scholarships. Teachers will also take part in courses and postgraduate studies. The Beneficiary – Complex of Gastronomy Schools in Białystok – has also invested the grant in the infrastructure, among others in rebuilding and equipping The Centre for Practical Education.
The Centre offers up-to-date education infrastructure. It is equipped with specialist and advanced technology that allows pupils to learn in conditions similar to those in the real work environment. What is important, the Centre meets food safety and quality standards. Pupils have been using the facility since 2019.
