Development and implementation of an energy storage tank using phase-to-phase materials and having the ability to recover low-temperature waste energy
The aim of the project was to implement an innovative new energy storage tank using organic phase change material (PCM) for production.
and with the ability to recover low-temperature waste energy. Its innovative design, technological capabilities and method of operation have been developed as a result of research and development works carried out by the Applicant. This goal could have been achieved by expanding the machine park, i.e. purchasing a modern processing centre using the High Speed Machining (HSM) technology and extending the current patent by a larger number of EU Member States covered by patent protection. The market research conducted by the applicant allowed to conclude that the demand for a new innovative product is growing and the machine itself is expected on the market. The applicant classified the competition in the market for both the basic version of the tray and the version with the functionalities described above. These functionalities continue to classify the described tray in the same area of the renewable energy market. The launch of the production process of the device is a direct result of the project and the technology implemented within it.
The innovative device, in combination with other devices offered by SZEL-TECH, such as water tanks and heat recovery devices, will definitely diversify production and increase the level of competitiveness of the company.
