As part of the project, an Internet portal called “Giełda Wymiany Bartrowej” (“Barter Exchange Exchange”) was launched. The portal is the first tool of this type in Poland – using the Internet network, which will enable the exchange of information and transactions between business partners at the level of barter exchange. The “Barter Exchange” Internet portal is a tool addressed to business users, mainly from the manufacturing sector, but also from the service sector. The main task of the portal is to provide access to materials, semi-finished and finished products stored in the company’s warehouses and to exchange them for other products by means of auction transactions, which are necessary in the current business activity of the company. Thanks to its functionalities, the Portal makes it possible:

  1. Auctioning of products, semi-finished products, materials.
  2. Automatic combining of offers using parameters included in the descriptive questionnaire or given as keywords
  3. Conducting negotiations between online partners
  4. Possibility of conversion and calculation of offers
  5. Determination of the dates of execution and duration of the auction
  6. Defining and negotiating a way of barter trade
  7. Determining the territorial scope of the offerC
  8. Reating an entrepreneurial profile
  9. Adding user feedback
  10. Descriptive and photographic presentation of the products
  11. Filtering of information and offers
  12. Multilateral barter – enabling exchanges between several partners
  13. Use of the offer and service by visually impaired persons.

Thanks to the portal, the Companies will obtain an effective tool not only supporting the development of barter exchange, but also to minimize their problems related to the rotation of materials and products as well as to exchange their services for a good or another service.
