Pedagogical Regional Library in Rzeszów
The main objective of the project was to launch new e-services with a high level of maturity and to adapt the existing ICT infrastructure to the level necessary to launch a system for managing and sharing digital resources for readers recorded in the network of Podkarpackie Pedagogical Libraries, adapting services to current standards and technology development. The project assumed realization of three key elements: 1) Creation of the e-biblioteka internet portal; 2) Expansion of the implemented library system with new functionalities; 3) Creation of dedicated mobile applications to handle the reader’s account in the library system using smartphones/tablets.
The project assumes the following e-services: Internet reservation of computers; Communication service with users; Submitting purchase proposals with the possibility of voting; Remote loans and returns of books; Internet ordering of scans; Internet ordering of photocopies; Subscription to the Library using the trusted profile ePUAP. The beneficiaries of the Podkarpackie e-Libraries pedagogical project are all readers (including people with disabilities) registered in the network of Pedagogical Libraries of the Podkarpackie Province. These will include: school children and youth, students, teachers and school administrative staff, inhabitants of Podkarpackie province, disabled people.
