Development of RES in Municipalities: Grębów, Jasienica Rosielna, Majdan Królewski, Markowa, Niwiska, Ostrów and Sędziszów Małopolski
The main objective of the project is to obtain 3.71 MW of additional capacity to generate electricity and heat from renewable sources. To meet this goal it is planned to purchase photovoltaic installations, air heat pumps with hot water tanks and biomass boilers. The installed RES installations will allow to reduce the consumption of non-renewable energy sources, reduce emissions of harmful substances, which in turn will improve air quality in the region.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the fulfilment of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy. The document sets out the objectives set for the EU, which include the ’20/20/20′ climate and energy target. The subject of the project is the purchase and installation of renewable energy installations in the municipalities covered by the project: Grębów, Jasienica Rosielna, Majdan Królewski, Markowa, Niwiska, Ostrów and Sędziszów Małopolski. There will be installed 890 photovoltaic installations, 30 biomass boilers and 83 air source heat pumps.
