Energy modernization of public buildings of the City of Jasło
Jasło is one of the towns in the Subcarpathian region that have taken decisive action in response to the increasing PM10 emission rates. One of the most effective ways is the energy modernization of buildings, which, in addition to environmental benefits, brings measurable savings in spending on heat and electricity.
Within the framework of the project, four schools were selected for thermal modernization (Primary School No. 2 at Koralewskiego Street, Primary School No. 4 at Wincentego Pola Street, Primary School No. 11 at Mickiewicza Street, Municipal School Complex No. 5 at Sobniowska Street), two buildings of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre (technical and gym) and the City Hall building. These buildings are used by over 2 thousand people, but so far they have not provided adequate conditions in terms of insulation, efficiency, tightness and energy consumption. The works included: insulation of buildings, replacement of windows and external doors, modernization of hot water and central heating installations, installation of ventilators with recuperator for heat recovery and replacement of lighting.
