The project aims to improve fire safety management in the area of Wojaszówka Commune – securing forests with water for firefighting purposes. This investment primarily contributes to the improvement of fire safety in forest areas of Podkarpackie voivodeship, especially in the area where the project will be implemented – in Wojaszówka Commune. Within the framework of the project there were created- underground fire-fighting water tanks, capacity 2x 50 m3, along with a water intake point in Łęki Strzyżowskie and a drilled well.- 2×75 m3 underground fire-fighting water tanks together with a water intake point in Pietrusza Wola and a drilled well.- underground fire-fighting water tank of total capacity of 50 m3 together with a water intake point in Ustrobna, Within the framework of the project, the existing fire-fighting tank was reconstructed and renovated, together with the water intake point in Ustrobna. The existing fire protection tank was rebuilt and repaired together with the construction of the water extraction point and renovation of the fence in Odrzykoń. Warning signs were made and installed. The warehouse building for fire-fighting equipment was renovated. Information and memorial boards were installed. The project also aims at- shortening the time needed to start rescue actions due to the increased number of fire water tanks, – increased efficiency of rescue actions as a result of their better coordination and planning – improved protection of life and property, – reduction of losses caused by fire hazards in valuable natural areas of the Wojaszówka commune.
