The strategic goal of the “Mobile MOF Stalowa Wola” project was to reduce the impact of the transport system on the environment and climate and to improve the accessibility and quality of public transport in the area of the Municipal Functional Area in Stalowa Wola.

Within the framework of the project, the following tasks were implemented in Stalowa Wola Municipality:

  •    10 electric buses (zero emission) and 9 low emission buses (EURO VI) were purchased;
  •     The “dynamic passenger information” was purchased, which includes e-ticketing, stationary ticket machines with monitoring;
  •     Information boards were installed at bus stops;
  •     Road infrastructure was rebuilt to improve the functionality of the public transport system;
  •     Turbine roundabout was built at the intersection of Solidarności and Energetyków Streets;
  •     Two new lines of communication were created and extended;
  •     Increased frequency of bus routes.

 

The following tasks were carried out in the Pysznica Municipality:

  •     A bus bay was built together with a shelter and a platform in Klyzow;
  •     Two bays with a pedestrian crossing in Pysznica were built;
  •     A bus loop was built, together with pavements and a platform in Brandwica (Zaleszany commune);
  •     Park & Ride” and “Bike & Ride” car parks were built;
  •     12 bus shelters with D-15 signs and trash bins and bicycle racks were built;

As part of the project, the following tasks were carried out in the Municipality and City of Nisko:

  •     An interchange centre with a roofed Cyclists’ Service Centre was built;
  •     Bicycle paths were built to communicate the Podwolina and Warchoły housing estates with an interchange centre located at the junction of Wolności and 11-Listopada streets;

Project products:

  •     19 purchased buses (emission-free or with EuroVI standard),
  •     907 passenger seats in the purchased rolling stock,
  •     4 built “park and drive” facilities,
  •     36 parking spaces in the built “park and drive” facilities,
  •     4 parking spaces for the disabled in the constructed “park and ride” facilities,
  •     5 “Bike&Ride” facilities built,
  •     68 parking spaces in the constructed “Bike&Ride” facilities,
  •     1 integrated interchange built,
  •     1 installed intelligent transport system,
  •     5.7 km of roads built.
