Adjustment of the educational infrastructure of Łańcut County to the needs of vocational training
In the Complex of Technical Schools in Łańcut a sports hall with a full-size playground for handball, basketball, volleyball, along with social facilities and coaching rooms was created, which was not previously the case in any secondary school run by the district government. The construction of the facility not only created opportunities to conduct physical education classes for students of the school team, but also contributed to the popularization and development of sport in the Łańcut region. Lessons for students take place mostly before noon and in the early afternoon. Afterwards, the room is open to children, young people and adults practicing various sports here. Sports competitions are held on weekends. Almost 200 people can watch them from the grandstand. Not only the functionality of the building is of interest, but also an interesting body with wood elements and glazing. Photovoltaic panels have been installed on the facade and roof.
In the District Centre for Practical Education and Vocational Education in Łańcut, the rooms have been converted into a didactic studio with social facilities. The renovation was also carried out in the Technical School Complex in Łańcut. Moreover, didactic aids for vocational schools were purchased. The new equipment was enriched, among others, by mathematics, computer science, landscape architecture, car engines, electrical engineering and car electronics, chassis and car bodies, physics and chemistry at the Complex of Technical Schools, mechatronics, electrical and electronic and computer science at the Complex of Schools No. 2, as well as advertising, sales and accounting at the Complex of Schools No. 3.
