Rzeszów vocational schools open to the labour market
The aim of the project was to equip, in agreement with the employers, 60 workshops and studios in 16 teams of schools and vocational training institutions in Rzeszów. The implementation of new technologies into the education system not only improved the quality of education, but also made it possible to adapt it to the requirements of the labour market. Young people are educated on modern equipment available to employers. Graduates are therefore immediately ready to work in Podkarpackie enterprises.
An extremely important element of the undertaking was to improve practical skills and raise professional qualifications. Within three years 1501 students completed specialist courses or trainings, 1552 completed internships or paid holiday internships with entrepreneurs. Some of the courses, such as the advanced handling of graphic programs and advertising photography 3ds Max, Corel, Photoshop, are very expensive and were free of charge under the project. Moreover, the training courses ended with obtaining a certificate recognized also abroad. The project also contributed to the improvement of professional qualifications of almost 200 teachers from Rzeszow’s schools, who completed post-graduate studies and further education courses.
